Almond Milk

I love almond milk!

Almond Milk= Basic Culinary Skill Level- click to read about how I rate the difficulty of my recipes

  • 6 cups of water
  • 3 TB almond butter (make sure almonds are the only ingredient)
  • optional 2- 4 1/2 TB of maple syrup or manuka honey (omit if you want your almond milk unsweetened)
  • 1/8 tsp pink salt
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla

  • *please use organic ingredients, if possible.
  1. Add water and almond butter to a vitamix. Blend on high for 30-45 seconds until blended and frothy.
  2. Pour the almond milk through a nut bag into a clean bowl. Squeeze all the liquid through the nut milk bag.
  3. Wash nut milk bag and lay to dry.
  4. Rinse the inside of your blender with clean water.
  5. Pour the almond milk back into the blender. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until combined and frothy, about 45 seconds.
  6. Pour into a clean pitcher or mason jars and store in the refrigerator for a week. Shake before use.
