Warm Ginger Honey Drink

This tasty drink is great for boosting the immune system thanks to all of its ingredients. Ginger contains an array of vitamins and minerals, antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties. Lemon contains vitamin C and antioxidants. Apple Cider Vinegar has undergone a fermentation process, meaning it contains probiotics and enzymes. Raw honey contains a plethora of vitamins, amino acids, minerals and enzymes. Sea salt contains trace minerals and electrolytes.

Serves 1 (this recipe can easily be doubled for two people):

  • 1/8 tsp ground ginger or super finely grated ginger root
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 1/2 lemon and/or 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1-2 tsp raw honey
  1. Add ginger, sea salt and lemon (if using) to a mug.
  2. Boil 3/4 cups of water
  3. Pour the water into the mug, filling it halfway. Fill the other half with room temperature or cold water and stir in the apple cider vinegar (if using) and raw honey.
  4. Enjoy!
