Collagen: why I love it and incorporate it into our daily lives!

Collagen is one the of the most prevalent proteins in our bodies; found in muscles, skin, bones and the digestive system. Collagen gives skin strength (which is why its found in so many skincare products). Along with providing protein and improving skin, collagen can help heal the gut. Many diseases start in the gut, so having a healthy gut can mean having a healthy body.

I add collagen peptides to a beverage or two a day: coffee, tea, milk, smoothies, etc…
